Launch of £1m research study

Origin Sciences are proud to announce the launch of our groundbreaking TRIOMIC study in partnership with The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust, a pioneering initiative that has the potential to transform colorectal cancer diagnosis and improve outcomes for patients worldwide.

The £1 million study, launched at the Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) in Telford to transform, use the Oricol™ device to collect rectal mucus samples and aims to reduce patient anxiety and hospital burden by providing results within five days. Over 6,000 patients will participate, with Origin Sciences funding staff and facilities. If successful, the test could spare patients unnecessary colonoscopies, cut costs, ease hospital capacity pressures and establish a new diagnostic pathway.
